Alpha Mu Alumnae from the 1964 pledge classes enjoyed a "Big Fat Greek AXO Reunion" at the University Club of Chicago during the weekend of May 15-17, 2009. Elaine Anstett Opsitnik and Susan Ipsen were the reunion chairs for the event, which included an architectural boat tour on the Chicago River and Opening Day for a new wing of the Chicago Art Museum, capped off with a fabulous dinner at a Greek restaurant. This event followed a 2007 reunion in Bloomington at the Alpha Mu Chapter House and plans are already in place for another reunion in 2011 in Indianapolis, IN. After 40 years of little communication between these sisters, they are now gathering every two years to stay connected.

Following the Chicago Reunion weekend, several 1964 Alpha Mu pledge sisters traveled to Frankfort, IN to visit their pledge sister Marilyn Mast Ransom for lunch.

These pledge sisters enjoyed a weekend reunion at the Alpha Mu Chapter House to celebrate 40 years of sisterhood, which included a cook-out at The Malinovsky home and an evening at Nick's.
